2. Scope

This Policy applies to website visitors, account holders, prospective customers, authorized users, billing contacts, technical contacts, support users, and app users who interact with our hosting, domain, productivity, VPN, and related ICT services.

3. Company role

Unless otherwise stated, Junubia Net Trading acts as a data controller for information processed for sales, account management, billing, customer support, fraud prevention, and platform administration. For certain hosted or managed services, Junubia may also act as a processor or service provider on a customer’s behalf.

4. Categories of data we collect

We may collect identification data, contact information, account credentials, billing details, service configuration data, support content, communications records, device and browser data, IP addresses, login history, usage logs, order history, and any other information reasonably required to provide, secure, and improve our services.

5. Data collected for specific services

Depending on the service ordered, we may collect domain registration contact data, business information, technical contacts, DNS or hosting configuration data, mailbox or collaboration setup information, service seat counts, license assignment data, VPN subscription records, abuse-report evidence, and compliance records needed to provision or maintain the relevant service.

6. How we collect data

We collect information directly from you, automatically through our websites and apps, from payment providers, domain registries or registrars, cloud or software partners, resellers, customer representatives, and other lawful sources connected with service delivery, verification, security, or compliance.

7. Purposes of processing

We process personal data to create and manage accounts; activate, supply, and renew services; administer domains and subscriptions; authenticate users; issue invoices; receive payments; provide support; detect, investigate, and prevent fraud or abuse; protect infrastructure; comply with legal duties; maintain records; and communicate about service, security, support, marketing, and account matters.

8. Legal bases

Where applicable, we rely on contractual necessity, legitimate interests, compliance with legal obligations, protection of rights and security interests, and consent where consent is the appropriate legal basis.

9. Cookies, SDKs, and similar technologies

Our websites and apps may use cookies, local storage, analytics tags, crash reporting tools, security tools, and similar technologies to keep services functioning, remember preferences, measure performance, understand usage, prevent abuse, and improve user experience. You may control certain browser-based cookies through your browser settings, but some functions may not work correctly if required technologies are disabled.

10. App permissions

Our Android and iOS applications may request permissions relevant to account access, notifications, file uploads, camera, biometrics, or other features that you choose to use. Permission-dependent features may not function fully if permission is denied.

11. Payments and billing

Payment card or mobile payment information may be processed by authorized payment service providers rather than stored in full on our systems. We may retain limited billing records, transaction references, tax records, and anti-fraud information necessary for audit, reconciliation, dispute handling, and legal compliance.

12. Sharing and disclosure

We may share personal data with payment providers, registries and registrars, cloud and software vendors, hosting or infrastructure providers, security service providers, customer support vendors, professional advisers, auditors, competent regulators, law-enforcement authorities, courts, and other third parties where the disclosure is necessary for contract performance, security, legal compliance, or legitimate operational purposes.

13. International transfers

Because digital services may involve international vendors, cloud systems, registries, support channels, or infrastructure, personal data may be transferred or accessed across borders. Where applicable, we take reasonable contractual, technical, and organizational measures designed to support lawful international transfers.

14. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or destruction. These measures may include access controls, role segregation, monitoring, logging, backups, encryption or hashing where appropriate, patching, and security review processes. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

15. Retention

We keep personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including contract administration, technical support, tax and accounting compliance, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, security review, enforcement, backup, archival, and legal obligations. Different categories of data may be retained for different periods. Our internal retention schedule should be completed with the exact periods used by the business.

16. Marketing communications

Where permitted by applicable law, we may send service information, product information, account notices, and marketing communications. You may opt out of non-essential promotional communications using unsubscribe tools or by contacting us. Operational, billing, service, and security notices may still be sent when necessary.

17. Children’s privacy

Our services are intended for business users, adult consumers, and authorized representatives. We do not knowingly solicit or intentionally collect personal data from children in a manner prohibited by applicable law.

18. Your rights

Subject to applicable law and valid verification, you may request access to your personal data, correction of inaccurate data, objection to direct marketing, restriction or objection in certain circumstances, review of certain automated decisions if applicable, and complaint or redress through the appropriate channels. Some requests may be limited where retention or continued processing is required by law, security, fraud-prevention needs, contract administration, or the rights of other persons.

19. Account closure, cancellation, and data deletion

You may request closure of your account by contacting info@junubia.net or using any account-closing functionality we make available. Closure of an account does not automatically cancel all active paid services unless clearly requested and confirmed. Domain names, hosting plans, licenses, VPN subscriptions, and other services may remain active until the applicable cancellation request is processed in accordance with the relevant service terms. We may retain account, billing, technical, registry, fraud-review, security, dispute, abuse, backup, and audit records after closure where reasonably necessary or legally required. Some information may remain in backups or archival systems for a limited period before deletion or overwriting.

20. Refunds, billing disputes, and service cancellation privacy implications

Refund eligibility, billing reversals, subscription termination, and service cancellation rules are governed primarily by our Terms of Service and Refund & Cancellation Policy. Even where a refund is approved, we may continue to retain transaction references, identity and anti-fraud records, support tickets, service logs, and dispute materials as reasonably necessary for tax, accounting, audit, security, chargeback response, abuse investigation, contractual enforcement, and legal compliance.

21. Third-party services and linked sites

Our services may integrate with or link to third-party products, partner portals, registrars, or support tools. Those third parties may operate under their own privacy notices and contractual rules. We encourage users to review third-party terms where they interact directly with such services.
